Combining classroom theory with practical pool sessions, your training will equip you to explore some of the world's most amazing underwater scenery, marine life and mysterious wrecks.
This Open Water Course is designed to gradually introduce you to the exciting underwater environment. Student to instructor ratios are among the best in Australia so you can be certain you will receive all the training you need to be a confident diver. Confined dives are carried out in a private training pool heated to around 29 degrees all year round.

You need to know:
All participants will need to complete an Australian Standards Diving Medical 4005.1 prior to the commencement of training. Minimum age is 12 years and those under 18 will need parental consent. You are required to supply your own mask, fins, snorkel (also available for hire) & safety sausage. All other scuba equipment are supplied. You will need to purchase your own PADI openwater crew pack or DVD (including manual, dive tables & logbook). You will need to drop by our stores at either Bulimba or Milton to collect a copy of the DVD to watch prior to course commencement. It is strongly recommended that you purchase your own dive knife and gloves.
The Weather:
Some weather conditions can affect the ocean conditions & the dive sites scheduled. Alternate dates will be arranged if the weather conditions are unsafe. Courses are run all year round.

This experience is located on the corner of Milton & Baroona Road. There is a variety of public transport available.
Other Info:
Some medical conditions may prevent you from diving (including asthma diabetes & epilepsy). This experience is not suitable for spectators.
