Dive in Port Phillip Bay and experience marine life unlike anywhere else in the world. You'll encounter beautiful coral, spectacular marine creatures and the famous Weedy Sea Dragons. Start your day with a basic theory session in the comfort of the classroom, before moving to a confined heated pool. Here you'll learn all the skills you need to get the most from your amazing open water dive.
Now for the fun bit as you get ready for an amazing close personal encounter with the Weedy Sea Dragon Colony, Octopus and Seahorse garden.

This experience is available on weekends only and runs from 9AM to 5PM.
You need to know:
No previous scuba diving experience is necessary.
Participants need to be aged 12 and above. You will need to have basic swimming skills. If you suffer from diabetes, epilepsy, asthma, heart or lung problems then you may need to consult a Doctor prior to the course and provide a written Medical Certificate on arrival. Please ask the customer service team if you require A Dive Doctors contact details.

Special Needs:
Please bring your Bathers, Towel, and Sunscreen, you will also need to supply your own lunch, or bring money to purchase your lunch. Your Equipment hire & air fill, Scuba dive theory session, pool session and an ocean dive to the Weedy Sea Dragon Colony or the Seahorse Garden are all included in the price.

Q. I have never been scuba diving, is this an issue? A. No! You will be given full training and eased into the experience. You won’t be expected to do anything out of your comfort zone.
Q. Is there a minimum age required to complete this experience? A. Participants must be at least 12 years old.
Q. I am not a very good swimmer; will this affect my participation at all? A. You will need to have basic swimming skills as a minimum. You will have to be able to tread water for at least one minute.
Q. Shall I bring along something to eat? A. Absolutely! The alternative option is to bring some money along to purchase some lunch.
Q. What shall I wear on the day? A. Please wear something comfortable and bring some bathers along with a towel and sunscreen.
