This is your once-in-a-lifetime chance to have an amazing encounter with Melbourne’s colony of Sub-Antarctic Penguins!
We will provide you with Antarctic snow gear and take you for a tour to remember; Onto the ice where you have the exclusive opportunity to sit amongst majestic King and Cheeky Gentoo Penguins.
This is the only tour of its kind in all of Australia!
You will have the opportunity to see food preparation and veterinary areas as well as learning how our state-of-the-art Penguin exhibit maintains sub-zero temperatures.
It’s one thing seeing penguins, but it’s another thing being on the ice with them and experiencing their world.

Cameras, video devices, jewellery, watches and mobile phones are NOT permitted on the tour.
Participants
There is a maximum of 2 participants per tour.
Participants must be15 years old or older for this experience.
Participants must not have been in contact with birds in the last 24 hours prior to the experience.
You must be able to navigate stairs and must not be suffering any flu, cold, gastro or respiration infection in the last 48 hours prior to the experience.
Participants must complete a declaration and indemnity form prior to experience.
Availability: Our Penguin Experience operates from Friday to Monday’s at 1:00pm and 2:00pm.

Allow 45 minutes for your tour.
What to wear:
Wear everyday clothes as we will provide you with Antarctic snow gear to go over your clothes for the experience.
