The Experience
Parasail through the skies of Sydney Harbour and experience the most fantastic way to see the iconic landmarks! Your experience begins as you board the boat in Manly. While cruising out onto the water, each you will be briefed on what to expect and how the parasail process works. No need to worry as you will be provided with a life jacket and all the necessary safety equipment.
For your parasail flight departure, you will stand on the boat’s platform and one of our crew members will deploy the parasail, connect your harness and slowly operate the winch. It’s time for your launch! From the platform you are gently winched into the skies above Sydney Harbour.
Your maximum height from the water will be 150 metres. All that is required of you is to relax and enjoy the view! For a little added excitement, you can choose to be dipped in the water. The choice to get wet or stay dry is all yours! At the completion of your 8-10 minute parasail you will gently be winched onto the boat platform and watch the other parasailors in flight or cruise back to the wharf.
Definitely bring your camera (preferably water proof) as there are some fantastic photo opportunities.

You Need to Know:
No previous experience is necessary. There is a minimum age of 10 and children aged 10 to 14 years must fly tandem with an adult (at an additional cost). Every rider wears a personal floatation jacket.
Spectators are able to ride in the boat if numbers allow at a cost of $15 payable on the day. Please advise at time of booking. Alternatively, you can view quite well from the shoreline depending on wind direction.
This is a seasonal business, which operates between October and closes in early May.
Generally boarding is from Manly Wharf, although pickup from other vessels, harbour beaches or wharves can be arranged.
The Weather:
This experience is weather dependent. As a general rule, this parasailing will not operate when it rains or if the wind exceeds 25 knots. You will parasail in overcast condition. If your experience is cancelled due to rain, you will be notified and rescheduled for an alternative date that suits.
Numbers:
Price is per person. There is the option to add a person and fly tandem.
The parasail vessels have a maximum capacity of 12 people, plus 2 crew members.
How long to plan for:
Please allow approximately 1 hour for your total parasailing experience. Your actual time in flight is 8 - 10 minutes. Time on the boat can vary due to number of participants.
What to wear:
Please wear clothes suitable to the weather on the day.
We highly suggest not to wear dresses or skirts.
If you choose to be dipped in the water, please wear a bathing suit and bring a change of clothes.
