The Experience
Come join us for a full day of drift fishing over local reefs off the coast of New South Wales. Generally we like to fish the offshore waters up to about 25 kilometres to sea at a depth of around 120 to 150 metres - these have been subject to less fishing pressure than the close in reefs, which means a better chance of catching!
The fishing trip includes all bait and fishing tackle, light morning tea and Alvey Winches. You keep the fish you catch, but generally you keep the biggest fish you caught and the rest of the days catch is consolidated and shared amongst the other fishers on board.
With a cruising speed of 20 knots the sports catamaran will transport you to and from the fishing grounds in quick time, allowing more time to fish! Also, fishing off a catamaran allows for a very stable fishing platform and plenty of deck and cabin space where you can relax in comfort during the trip.
You will be fishing using our custom made Alvey Winches. They are fixed to the rails and weather-strategic. The boat is equipped with modern fish finding system helping to locate where the fish are.
The fish we are likely to catch include snapper, morwong, trevally, and flathead.
