You need to know:
Your flight includes - tea, coffee & biscuits on arrival, transport to and from launch & landing sites, a gourmet breakfast, a brief history lesson about ballooning and a commemorative flight certificate for each passenger. Please notify us if you have had any recent major surgery or injury within 12 weeks prior to the flight date, or if you are over 12 weeks pregnant. Children 7 to 12 years must be accompanied by an adult.
The Weather:
Ballooning is fully weather dependent. The decision to fly is made on the morning of the flight. You must contact the operator before leaving home. All relevant contact details will be supplied to you at the time of booking. In the event that your flight is cancelled, you will be able to liaise with the operator directly to arrange an alternative booking.
Session Length:
The whole experience will take 4 hours. Actual flight duration is 45 to 60 minutes.
Numbers:
The largest balloon can take up to 16 passengers plus the pilot. Group bookings of up to 70 passengers are available.
Getting There:
Participants need to arrange their own transport to the site, which is located in the heart of the vineyard region approximately a 10 minute drive from Cessnock.
Spectators:
Non flying companions can attend the flight briefing, helps to launch the balloon, and then travel with the ground crew, be there when the balloon lands, and joins in the champagne celebration. There is a small charge for these guests, please inform the customer service team at the time of booking if you will be attending with non flying companions.
