The day will start with a safety briefing to ensure that you are up to speed on the simple processes involved. You will then meet your instructor and board your plane then ascend high into the crisp Queensland air. Willing up all the courage in the world you will finally leap into the sky and experience what is commonly believed to be the most thrilling pursuit known.
You will freefall for thirty seconds which is the closest feeling a human can get to flying, followed by floating back to earth witnessing the most breathtaking views you will ever experience. Relax as your jumpmaster guides you through a gentle descent under parachute, leaving you free to drink in the panoramic vistas and savour every last moment. Complete your adventure by touching down right on the beach.
From the plane and under parachute, you will take in views of Fraser Island, Carlo Sandblow, Double Island Point and the coloured sands that Rainbow Beach is famous for. There really is no better way to experience this breathtakingly beautiful coastal region.

You need to know:
Minimum age for a tandem skydive is 14 years. Parent/guardian signature required for persons under 18 years. Maximum weight of 100 kilos.
The Weather: This experience takes place in most weather conditions. In the event of extreme conditions your booking will be resceduled. It is advisable to contact the operator on the morning of your experience if in doubt.
Session Length: You need to allow 2 hours for your total skydive experience.
Numbers: This experience is for one person.
Getting There: A detailed map and directions will be provided on booking. The airport and beach landing area is located within the township of Rainbow Beach. A courtesy bus is available to pick you up from Rainbow Beach accommodation.
Other Info:
Spectators are welcome to join in the complete tandem skydive experience from watching the plane taking off to watching the freefall and landing on the beach. A $35 Australian parachute federation skydive levy has been included in this price. You can preserve your tandem skydive experience with DVD and digital photos available on the day.
