The road is full of hazards so spend a day learning how to avoid dangerous situations. You'll practice everything from vehicle dynamics to braking technique, and your own limits.

The practical/driving lessons of this course encompass several exercises on wet roads at town speeds. You will practice multiple direction and swerving changes as well as emergency braking. You will learn how your vehicle reacts in emergency situations, basic skid control, skid causation, and skid prevention.
Our instructors will teach you the correct systems of car control including steering, seating and vision. Whether your car has anti-lock breaking or not you will learn the correct braking procedures associated with your particular vehicle.
Another key component to the practical side of this experience is to raise the drivers level of awareness in relation to stopping distances, reaction time and speeding.
The theory/classroom component is conducted in a way that is sure to keep your interest as well as learning the basic road safety concepts. Your instructor will discuss current and new road laws, the importance of tyre pressure and tyre type, the Golden Rules of Defensive Driving and how to use them on a daily driving basis.
Another important aspect to the theory component is learning how a driver’s attitude, risk taking behaviour and motivation can affect the safety of the driver, passengers and other road users. A issue that most every driver has experienced in some way or another!
