The Experience
Experience a unique adventure as you ride from the summit of Mount Lofty on mountain bikes all the way down to Adelaide, though stunning native bush, and enjoy a visit to Cleland wildlife park along the way.
Spot Koalas in their native environment, and see kangaroo’s and emus along the way. We will also explore trails by bike which are not normally open to cyclists. It’s downhill all the way!
This is a great opportunity to experience Adelaide in a completely different way! Your day will begin with a complimentary pick-up from Central Adelaide. We will drive you and the others in your group to the summit of Mount Lofty. The summit reaches 710 metres and offers amazing views of city, the Adelaide hills, and the plains below.
After a stop for photos, you will be provided with a quality mountain bike and helmet, and make sure you are comfortable and happy with your bike. It is then a short peddle though Cleland Conservation park to Cleland Wildlife park. We will stop here and give you the chance to wander at leisure and feed or pat kangaroos, Wallabies, emus and many other native wildlife. If you are lucky, you might even have the chance to touch a koala.
After some morning tea, we will hop back on our bikes and continue the ride down to Adelaide. You will ride through beautiful native bush and are likely to spot more koalas or kangaroos in their natural habitat.
The end of your ride will have you peddling the quiet suburbs or Adelaide.
