The Experience
Enjoy a five day photo safari showcasing the unique beauty of the Blue Mountains and beyond.
Starting at Katoomba, your safari will head northwest, following the scenic route over the Blue Mountains. You'll pass around the west of the Wollemi Wilderness, stopping at Goulburn River National Park, before making camp for the evening at Coolah Tops National Park. Spend the night surrounded by a tall Eucalypt forest then travel west into Coonabarrabran.
You'll explore an Aboriginal art site where you'll have the chance to discover caves and traces of unique art. Then venture into the Pilliga Scrub, home to forests of Cypress Pine and Eucalypts, and a large Koala population.
Your Safari then takes you west into the Warrumbungles National Park for a tour of the Siding Springs Observatory before finishing at the Macquarie Marshes. Spend time searching for the prolific birdlife that frequents the area and enjoy endless unique photo opportunities.

You need to be 16 years or older to participate in this activity. You must be able to climb steps to participate in this experience as some walking is required. Please note that the above itinerary may change, subject to weather and road conditions, and longer stays at great locations. This experience includes all entry fees and meals.

Getting There:
The meeting point for this experience is Katoomba. Katoomba is two hours by road or rail from Sydney. The meeting place is 3 minutes walk downhill from Katoomba station.
